Try something new: Every Thursday night of the week, at the Big Easy, Luther and the Healers Band rocks the house with great blues. You can dance swing, blues, and even lindy hop to the great music.  If you go there on the last Thursday of the month, you are in for a special treat. Houston Blues Society performs the “Blues Jam”.  There, you will see an Asian blues singer/guitar player who licks his guitar to great tunes! Oh, and he’s a lawyer when he’s not licking his guitar. http://www.thebigeasyblues.com/

All month long
The Shepherd School of Music at Rice. Pick a day and time most convenient to you and enjoy a relaxing evening of classical music for free by premier students and faculty.
