Time flies. It was just a few months ago that we scrambled to get our taxes filed. Tax season is just right around the corner again for tax year 2011. To make sure you are not under paying or over paying the IRS, check the number of withholding you currently claimed on your W-4 and use the IRS Withholding Calculator to determine whether you owe the IRS tax or the IRS owes you a tax refund. Next, you need to adjust your the number withholding on your W-4 accordingly.
If your annual income is $58,000.00 or less, you can efile for free on the IRS website. If you are a busy person and want to save time and energy for other important activities in your life, considering hiring a Certified Public Accountant.
