Live healthy to live wealthy

Every one knows that the connection between wealth and health is a positive one.  The healthier you are, the less you are likely to suffer from ailments.  The less doctor visits you make, the more money you have to save for your emergency funds and retirement savings.  Saving money is not the only benefit to a healthy living.  You can increase your life expectancy too.  Two recent studies in Taiwan and England discovered that a moderate exercise regimen of just 15 minutes a day can increase your life expectancy by 3 years.

For the month of September, visit Yoga studios around the country for free classes.  To learn more about National Yoga Month, click here.  Of course, if you work where I work, you can join the fitness center for free.  There are group exercises from Yoga to Zumba you can take to shred a few pounds and stay positive.  My trainer Carlos and I are working together again to design a new exercise program for me.  The one I am currently on is too “easy”. A few months ago, I almost gave up on it because it was extremely painful to lift weighs, run, or do squats.  These things are now a part of my daily habits.
